Th...The Ginhouse piece is one my favorites as well. Thanks for hipping me to the fact that it has received the Esoteric treatment. I am thrilled to see that I can get this domestically at a very good price. Esoteric does such good work. I enjoy reading Mark Powell's liner notes for Esoteric reissues--sort of. In his attempts to sound erudite he accidentally makes up new words (big ones usually) and commits repeated grammatical and syntactical fails. He also seems compelled to claim that every album he writes about was absolutely earthshakingly revolutionary. All symptoms of trying a little too hard. A little editing though, and his pieces could be really good. I saw a liner piece he wrote for another label and it had clearly been edited and came out well.
